Jenny was a recovery coach with Marigold for over 2 years, right up until she was unexpectedly taken from us by a very sudden and very swift illness. Regardless of how long she had been here, the impact she made is immeasurable on everyone she worked with, and especially among the hundreds of members she supported, either 1-on-1, in live chats, or in groups. We find some solace knowing that her resiliency, authenticity, advocacy, humor, and bright light will forever live on among our members and Marigold community.  

Jenny had just celebrated 10 years of sustained recovery. In addition to being a personification of hope and what was possible in recovery, she always would openly share her lived experiences about the challenges and setbacks that she endured, and had ultimately led her to being able to accomplish what she did. Accomplishments that included becoming a Certified Recovery Coach, earning her Bachelor's degree, being a daily fixture at hot yoga, and finding & marrying her soulmate.

Above all, Jenny thrived on the gratitude she had for the purpose she had found in peer support, and how “her mess became her message.”
