The Marigold app offers topical live chats, text-based group support, forums, and individual messaging with peers. It supports members in achieving and maintaining their recovery and wellness goals.
Peer support is mutual support offered by people who have gone through similar experiences or challenges. Marigold offers Peer support to members living with behavioral health conditions interested in recovery.
Marigold Peers are trained and certified Peer support specialists/Recovery Coaches who have "lived experience" with substance use and/or mental health conditions.
Marigold Peers can be identified by their account name. All marigold peers’ account names end with "_Marigold."
Marigold members are individuals who are interested in recovery and have personal lived experience with behavioral health conditions.
The app is open for messaging 24/7 among members. You can expect to find a Marigold Peer in the app Monday- Sunday 8 am to 10 pm EST.
Marigold is not a crisis service. If you need crisis support, please reach out to the free and confidential lifeline by texting or dialing 988 on your phone or visiting.
A member is eligible for study enrollment if they identify as struggling with substance use or are in recovery from substance use. Our current study recruits members who are at least 18 years old, not pregnant and do not live in Delaware. A study participant must complete study consents separately.
The BARC-10 is a survey that gives you a snapshot of the current resources you have available to support your recovery goals. The survey has ten questions that evaluate your available “recovery capital”.
The 10-item MHRM is a brief survey designed to assess how you’re currently feeling about your mental health recovery. The survey has ten questions and explores categories like symptom management, personal goals, feelings of stuck-ness and more.
The PWI is a self-reported survey that explores how satisfied you are with multiple areas in your life. Higher scores indicate higher levels of wellbeing and a broader sense of life satisfaction.
Social determinants of health is your finances, access to transportation, housing situation, and other aspects of your life that impact your ability to take care of your health. We use this screening form for two important reasons. One: we know if you have urgent needs that are currently unmet, you will likely want support for those first to set you up for success in achieving your recovery goals. Two: these surveys help us get an accurate picture of your needs so we can offer helpful resources to address them.
Wellness Planning is a personalized plan you can use to help you identify and track your personal goals.
